This programme is designed to appeal to pharmacists, nurses, midwifes, doctors, dentists, radiographers and any other allied healthcare professionals involved in teaching or training other staff; students work with other healthcare professionals to learn how to develop an environment that facilitates learning across and within the multi-professional clinical field; the programme also enables students to develop and apply their expertise as a teacher or trainer in clinical settings, and helps cascade learning to others.
Core module: Context, design and principles of learning and teaching in clinical settings; plus 1 or 2 choices from: practice, assessment and evaluation of learning and teaching in clinical settings; assessment, appraisal and evaluation for supervisors of preregistration pharmacy training; programme design and delivery (for supervisors of pre-registration pharmacy training).
