Under Shea Lolin’s charismatic and friendly direction, we repeat our ClarinetFest, a comprehensive course which offers clarinetists of all abilities the chance to play in choirs of three different levels and to join together in one joyful ensemble. With music from the renaissance to the contemporary, the weekend focuses on repertoire building but also includes workshops on rehearsal techniques. We’ll have a trade stand on site too, and on Friday the East London Clarinet Choir gives a public concert, for which all course members are given tickets, which includes the world premiere of a specially commissioned work by renowned local composer Daniel Basford.
