HOW WILL I STUDYThis course is specically designed for self study and can be accessed through Blackboard which is Aberdeen College's Virtual Learning Environment (VLE). Through Blackboard you will be able to access your learning materials, information and communicate with other students. SUPPORTAs this course has been specically designed for self study, we do not, therefore offer any tutorial support. However, whilst studying with e-learning, you will have technical and administrative support from the Virtual College Instructors and have access to the College Libraries, and the IT Centre. COURSE DURATIONThe course is designed to take 60 hours. You should aim to complete the course within 10 months.
Course Fees
This course costs £50.00 (subsidised rate for students who have been resident in the E.E.A. for 3 years). Fee waivers may apply.
Entry Requirements
It is essential that you have previous experience in using a computer, the Windows interface and Windows terminology. It is recommended that you should have attained the Open Learning Web Design Certificate or equivalent as this would provide the foundation knowledge required for this course.
Equipment and Materials
A computer with printer and broadband internet access. Since this is an online course, you will need to be connected to the internet all the time you are studying.
