Introduction to City University

Close Visit websiteRequest info

City University London is an internationally renowned institution with more than 100 years' experience of teaching and research, and a reputation for excellence in professional education.

We are also one of the largest providers of open-access education in London, with around 6,000 students on evening and weekend courses every year. Ideally located between the City and the West End, we pride ourselves on our close links with a wide range of professional and cultural institutions, and play an active role in the life of the capital.

With the current economic climate, there's never been a more important time to increase your skills or enhance your education. Employers are increasingly looking for evidence of personal development and progression at every level. Most courses don't have entry qualifications, giving you the opportunity to learn something completely new to further your career or stimulate your interest. Many are offered at more than one level, allowing you to continue your progress over a period of several terms if you wish.

For more information about the courses, including reading lists, learning outcomes and tutor biographies, visit the online course listings available from our website.
