As a Level 3 program, this course covers the units in much greater depth, with a higher standard of work being e are two manditory units (Design and Sampling) and you can also choose two more from the following list: - Textiles: Added Colour - Textiles: Added Pattern - Patchwork & Quilting - Patchwork, Quilting and Aplique By the end of the course you will have: - Learnt about studio practice, including care of tools and health and safety in the textiles studio. - Developed an in depth understanding of various textiles and the techniques that can be used with them. - Experimented with many of the various textiles techniques to the point of developing your own emerging style of practice. - Researched in greater depth a number of textiles artists and their work to inform your own developing practice.
