The City & Guilds 2399 Solar PV course has superseded the 2372 qualification. Currently the demand for qualified Solar PV installers out strips demand and this qualification will give you the technical and hands on experience to carry out real life installations. This full course will give you the environmental background and the hands on training. It will also provide you with a qualification that can be used to gain MCS accreditation. We are the first and only training company in the UK to provide this training at height on our specially designed single storey training roof.
This course is intended for qualified electricians including trained Domestic Installers who want to install grid connected domestic photovoltaic systems that are either integrated into, or retro fitted onto, a domestic property. You will need the appropriate electrical qualifications related to electrical installation, knowledge of the IEE Wiring Regulations 17th Edition, Initial inspection and testing 2392 and Part P competency. The Trade Skills 4U training package TS4U-17 Bronze would be the minimum you would need to join this course. Please contact us for advice as to wether or not you are suitable on 01293 529777.
