City College Manchester is one of the largest further education providers in the North West, with close to 30 000 students of all ages studying for a variety of qualifications with us. Last year we attracted hundreds of international students from countries as far away as China, Russia, Brazil and Japan. The College is also a well-established higher education provider offering a great range of niche courses including Musical Theatre, Event Management, Music and Media. With close links to industry, business and the arts and a teaching team who are all practitioners in their own fields.

What's on Offer
Facilities wise, City College Manchester’s main campuses across the city all have dedicated Learning Resource Centres, computer suites, Internet access and refectories. In addition each site has its own unique facilities, which include recording studios, childcare facilities, dance studios, DJ’ing booths, editing suites, a gymnasium, photographic studios and the very latest in laser and haptic design technology.

Plus there's The Space - a studio in the creative Northern Quarter offering our Art and Design students the chance to meet, mingle and work with industry operators.

If you're musically inclined with us you'll enjoy access to top of the range recording equipment and RawFish Records, the Colleges international record label set up in 1997 to give students the opportunity to record and release their own compositions.

In addition our Theatre School, 'The Arden' has recently moved to newly refurbished premises just outside the city centre.
