Course Description
In the 1630s the Leveson family built a new country house at Trentham. This course will examine the estate accounts in Staffordshire Record Office relating to the construction of the new house, the organisation of the household, and the management of the surrounding landed estate. Consideration will also be given to the relationship between the family and adjoining settlements, notably the village of Trentham and the borough of Newcastle-under-Lyme

£80; £48 if solely supported by state pension; £20 if in receipt of Unemployment Benefit or Income-Related Benefit

Childcare facilities are available on site. Early booking of sessions is strongly recommended due to high demand of limited places.
