Electrical
Churchill Academy's electrical courses are designed to prepare you for a career as an electrician. You can choose from two packages or you can buy individual modules separately. There is also a Portable Appliance Testing course (PAT) on offer. So whether you are a complete beginner looking to start a new career, or an existing professional in need of the new industry-standard qualifications, Churchill Academy can help.
Professional Electrician Training: If you want to work as an electrician, but have little or no prior experience, this is the package for you. It covers essential and advanced electrical theory, domestic and commercial practical wiring workshops and IEE 16th edition wiring regulations (C & G 2381). You can also take additional modules in the testing and inspection of electrical installations (C & G 2391).
Security
As a door supervisor, security officer or security guard, you are required by law to have a licence to practice from the SIA, under the Private Security Industry Act 2001. Churchill Academy’s courses give you qualifications that are SIA approved and successful completion will enable you to apply for a licence.
