Course Description
Practised for over 6000 years, calligraphy is a defining feature of Chinese culture as a means of communication and a revered form of art. We will study the use of ink brushes to write abstract characters ranging from traditional to modern Chinese calligraphy styles. This class is also recommended as basic training for Chinese brush painting students.
