Course Description
This is a conversion programme, designed to enable chemists or other scientists and engineers to obtain a professionally recognised qualification in chemical engineering. You study a selection of chemical engineering modules (120 credits), which typically include: reactor engineering; separation processes; process design, economics and project management; heat transfer; fluids; process safety; energy and material balances; introduction to process dynamics and control. Assessment is by examination, course work and a process plant design.

Entry Requirements
Usually a minimum of a second-class Honours degree, or equivalent, in science or another engineering discipline. Applicants whose first language is not English require IELTS 6.5, TOEFL 90 (Internet-based) or 577 (paper-based), or equivalent.
