Course Description
This degree emphasises the use of modern computer tools in the design and simulation of process plant, which is complemented by experimental work at bench, laboratory and pilot-plant scale to prove the predictions. Students use a range of industrial packages for process analysis, computer-aided design and computer-integrated manufacture and they undertake practical experimental work. Modules currently include Engineering Management, Process Technology Principles, Fluid Mechanics & Thermodynamics, Reaction Engineering, Project Planning & Economics and Product & Plant Design.
