About this course

This course has been designed to prepare students for a career as a chef in the catering industry. The units focus on culinary techniques and non-craft units that will aid them in progression to the hospitality industry or a higher catering qualification.

Additional entry requirements

Students should have 4 GCSEs A*E, Level 1 Food Preparation and Cooking/ Chef’s Diploma, Practical assessment and interview.

Good mixture of practical and theory work as you get to put what you have learnt in the class to work on live models. You can also bring your own models. Great teaching method which helps to ease the learning...more
