Course Description
This course is the largest professional accountancy body in the UK operating on an international basis. Students will complete paper 1 (recording financial transactions) and paper 2 (information for management control). On successful completion of this course students satisfying the practical experience requirement will be able to use the title Certified Accounting Technician. This qualification will make them eligible for direct entry to fundamental skills module of ACCAs professional examinations.
Assessment method
Students will be assessed by examination.
Entry Requirements
Students should have basic literacy and numeracy skills, no formal qualification will be expected to complete all three levels of the technician examinations. Some qualifications will receive exemptions from some or all of the modules. Students receiving the exemptions are required to satisfy the necessary training requirement to complete the technician qualification as a whole.
