You'll learn about art from painting, sculpture and architecture to printmaking, photography, and video. This new programme, offered in the community by a leading London university, offers a part‐time, flexible route to a degree. It is a nationally‐recognised University of London qualification that is the equivalent of the first year of a BA degree. It looks great on your CV. It is a part‐time programme. This means 4‐5 hours of contact time per week, plus a further 10‐12 hours per week of independent study. Funding is available. Means‐tested government funding is available that covers the full fees of eligible students. Students in receipt of means‐tested benefits or with a household income of up to £31,420 may be eligible for full or partial government fee grants. The cost for self‐funding students is £750 for the 2011‐12 academic year. Study without debt. You may have heard that there will be a sharp rise in university fees from 2012‐13. If you enrol on this programme now, and progress directly onto a degree upon completion, you will be able to complete the certificate AND the degree at current fee rates plus inflation.
