In this course, students will be able to practice confidently within specialist palliative care, utilising a sound evidence base of specialist skills and knowledge, challenge existing practice demonstrating an ability to engage in independent and creative thinking, demonstrate adaptability and respond positively to changes in policy and practice, demonstrate self awareness through the development of skills of critical thinking, analysis, problem solving and reflection and understand the research process and develop skills in the evaluation and generation of specialist knowledge.
