This course is suitable for those wishing to teach in the post compulsory sector. It covers the theoretical and practical aspects of teaching, including observations of practical teaching. Students need to complete a minimum of 100 hours teaching each academic year and within this time, will be observed within their working environment.
Students must have GCSE Maths and English at C Grade or equivalent (Numeracy/Literacy Level 2), a practical vocational subject (NVQ Levels 1-3), an appropriate Level 3 Vocational Qualification, an academic vocational subject (BND), an appropriate Level 4 Vocational Qualification, a minimum of 100 hours of teaching in each year of study.
