Camberwell has a reputation for producing outstanding ceramicists. This course will introduce you to studio, technical and critical practices that will enable you to develop and constantly revaluate your own creative potential. We believe that there should be a natural integration between the understanding of materials, making processes and the intellectual questioning of conventional attitudes towards craft and practice. The emphasis is on creativity, discovering a personal interpretation of the particular medium of ceramics and an understanding of its relationship to other contemporary visual arts.
