This course introduces the sculptor to clay. Students will acquire new skills and techniques in contemporary ceramic practice. Hand building, casting, colour and firing are its main elements. The student will be encouraged to draw and research visual information in sketchbooks that will inspire their work. They will be taught through demonstrations, group and individual tuition.
