You will be part of the kitchen team which services the college Crescent cafeteria for both staff and students. You will also work in Buckley's as part of the front of house team serving members of the public in our purpose built restaurant. Training will be a mix of both practical and theory based lessons covering food preparation, safety, hygiene and teamwork. You will learn to cook in a professional environment supported by a team of experienced tutors. All these skills will give you confidence and enable you to either progress to the next level or obtain your first position in the industry.
You will also complete some Personal and Social Development through additional Work Skills qualifications and through studying functional skills in Maths, English and IT.
