This course offers an introduction into the basic principles and practices of health, social and child care. It covers: communication skills with children, valuing children as individuals, planning for the physical and emotional care needs of children, keeping children safe, create activities for young children. After completing this course participants will progress to Children’s Care Learning and Development or Health and Social Care BTEC Level 2 Diploma.
Participants must have a minimum of 3 GCSEs grade E or above, or Childcare or Health and Social Care Entry Certificate.
