It is particularly appropriate for human resource practitioners and consultants, training managers and guidance workers. Through a programme of taught modules and career counselling skills training, you will gain a theoretical grounding, complemented by practical training. Career counselling training includes in-depth, face-to-face practice and case discussion. The programme attracts individuals working in a wide range of settings and organisational contexts, and provides excellent opportunities for peer learning and networking. Content: The programme is based on the MSc Career Management and Counselling and includes most of its taught modules and the popular career counselling skills training, without the research element and dissertation required for the MSc. You complete 6 taught modules, some core and some optional, over two years, and undertake training in career counselling skills. Core modules include: Life Career Development; Career Counselling and Coaching.
