The aim of this electrical training course is to gain familiarity with the layout, content and application of the BS 7671 (2008) 17th regulations edition. This course involves no practical work, it introduces the regulations and covers their application through explanation and worked examples. There are eight units making up the course relating to parts 1-7 and the appendices of BS 7671:2008: scope, object and fundamental principles; definitions; assessment of general characteristics; protection for safety; selection and erection of equipment; inspection and testing; special installations or locations; appendices.
