This course covers units which include: pipe work fittings and installation, legislation and safety, gas regulations, combustion, vents, flues, surveys, unsafe situations, pre commissioning, pressures and gas rating etc.
Participants should have completed NVQ Level 2 in Building Services in plumbing or heating and some experience of safety and installation work in fitting pipe work and gas appliances.

I found the course really interesting. No prior knowledge is really needed although I'd say Geography GCSE would be an advantage. One teacher called Andy had a very good way of explaining things and made the lessons more enjoyable....more
