CACHE Understand how to set up a home-based childcare service is the Ofsted registration course for home-based childcarers practitioners. As well as covering essential skills and knowledge required by Ofsted for working with children (known as the Common Core of Skills and Knowledge for the Children’s Workforce), our course helps practitioners to prepare for providing a home-based childcare service. Length As a flexible provider, we have designed the course for you to complete in 3 weeks to 3 months. Delivery & Support The course is delivered as an individualised 1-2-1 online home study course so you can work through the course at your own pace while receiving regular 1-2-1 personal support from your tutor.
Nannies, Au Pairs and Childminders. If you are a childminder, you need to attend a briefing provided by your local authority. This is a condition for local authority funding.
