About this course

Those working with younger children or working towards an NVQ in Childcare and Education. This course meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage, SureStart, Ofsted and is recognised by West Sussex County Council. The course will cover: First aid kit Record keeping Legal requirements in first aid Treatment of unconscious casualty Resuscitation Choking/Anaphylaxis Asthma and diabetic emergencies Head injuries Bleeding Shock Burns & scolds Extreme heat & cold, febrile convulsions Sprains, strains & fractures Poisoning, bites & stings Foreign objects Childhood conditions (e.g. measles, Meningitis & croup) Please contact East Grinstead Central campus on 01342 321874
