The course is designed for students wishing to start, or further develop, careers in consumer psychology and business; the marriage of both disciplines aids understanding behaviour and specifically consumer behaviour in the world of business.Compulsory modules: organisations and people, consumer science in practice, issues in quantitative and qualitative analyses, marketing strategy, management research, consumer and applied psychology.
Optional modules: knowledge management, european business, new venture creation, contemporary issues in managemnt, marketing communication, entrepreneurial marketing. Part 2 - either a supervised dissertation (approx. 10,000 words) or a structured Advanced Taught Programme of Summer Study.
