Course Description
BTEC Higher National Certificates are designed to provide a specialist vocational programme, linked to professional body requirements and with a strong work related emphasis. The qualifications provide a thorough grounding in the key concepts and practical skills required in their specialist sector and their wide recognition by employers allows progression directly into employment. BTEC Higher Nationals offer a strong emphasis on practical skills development alongside the development of requisite knowledge and understanding in their sector. This course offers a broad based introduction to Business and a specialist field of E-business. A range of assessment methods is used including coursework, projects and presentations.

Entry Requirements
You will normally need to have at least one of the following: An AVCE/GNVQ in an appropriate vocational area; A GCE A Level profile which demonstrates strong performance in a relevant subject or an adequate performance in more than one GCE subject; This profile is likely to be supported by GCSE grades at level A-C; Other related Level 3 qualification; An Access to Higher Education Certificate; Foundation Certificate; Related work experience; More mature learners may present a more varied profile of achievement that is likely to include extensive work experience (paid and/or unpaid) an/or achievement of a range of professional qualifications in their work sector; An equivalent foreign qualification; International students: TOEFL: 213/550/70 or IELTS: 5.5/6.0 or Cambridge Advanced Certificate: Pass or Cambridge Proficiency Certificate: Pass or equivalent or TOEFIC: 785
