Course Description
The Foundation Degree is a major Government initiative to widen participation in higher education and foster closer links with industry. It is possible to top-up the qualification to an honours degree, through a period of further study or progress to further professional qualifications. You can study for four years part-time or through a full-time route available over two years. You may have to pay tuition fees. However, most students pay a reduced amount or none at all. You can also get financial support to study for a Foundation Degree. Employers may be able to claim financial assistance. Areas studied comprise: Compulsory modules at foundation level; Professional Development Planning, Work-based Learning, Accounting for Business, Introductory People Management, Marketing and, Business Law Environment. At intermediate level, Compulsory modules are; Professional Development Planning, Work-based Learning and, Understanding Business Operations. Optional modules at intermediate level include; Business Management (Finance) and Business Management (People Management).

Variable fees are applicable for full time courses. These fees are subject to change, details are available from the provider.
Assessment method
Assessment will be via practical work, case studies, presentations, projects and essays.
