Course Description
This course gives students the knowledge and skills necessary for higher education or a career in any aspect of business. At AS Level they look at the way businesses are organised, the laws governing business, the way finance is raised and managed, and the way businesses research and satisfy customer needs. As the emphasis of this course is on the application of knowledge, they will investigate a number of real businesses.
Assessment method
Assessment is based on a case study of a real business situation and examination.
Entry Requirements
Participants will need a minimum of five GCSEs (grades A* to C) or an equivalent Vocational Programme at Merit level or above. Qualifications must include either a GCSE grade A* to C in English and Maths or relevant full Key Skills qualifications at Level 2.
