Burton College is situated in the centre of Burton upon Trent, a large vibrant town in Staffordshire, close to Birmingham and Derby. Burton College was established over 70 years ago and has earned a high reputation for the quality of courses offered and the success of the students.

Each year, approximately 14,000 students study at Burton College, from local and surrounding areas as well as further afield. They can choose from a wide range of subject areas such as Art and Design, Business and Management, Leisure and Hospitality, IT and Computing, Science, Engineering, Care and Construction.

The new University Centre, situated on the main College campus, focuses on the delivery of higher education courses such as Foundation Degrees. Quality amenities include computer rooms, a cyber café, sound studio and business centre for new enterprise start-ups.

Burton College has also launched its new Automotive and Engineering Skills Academy, housing an open plan welding and fabrication workshop, paint refinishing, electrical and electronics workshops and motor vehicle training area.

Our Creative Studies block includes a dance studio, theatre, workshops for 3D design, textiles, graphic design, music and sound recording.

Sports students will also be able to take advantage of a modern Sports Hall at the local Shobnall Leisure Complex consisiting of indoor and outdoor sporting facilities.
