You will learn about the Single Lens Reflex (SLR) camera and how to control it manually. You will learn how to develop Black & White film and how to make prints from negatives. Once you have learnt the basics, you will have the opportunity to develop projects from themes set by your tutor to help you gain an understanding of the camera as a creative tool. This class is an fun, experimental way of learning about this versatile subject. There are darkroom demonstrations and the tutor and technician will give you individual support with your work. Teaching is informal and encouraging.
