This course is largely geared to students who have already covered the GCSE course and want to improve their grades. It is also suitable for overseas students who want to progress onto A Levels but have not achieved the required GCSE qualifications to enable them to do so. In GCSE Biology, they will learn about the structure and function of living things. The interactions of living organisms will also be investigated, as well as man’s influence on this delicate balance, particularly in terms of environmental and genetic impact. Topics include Biology 1, Biology 2, Biology 3 and controlled assessment.
Students should be aged between 16 to 18 years and they should have obtained at least four Ds in their GCSEs, including English or Maths.
