About this course

This course will enable students to explore biological fundamentals and relate them to various medical conditions. They will also discover how the organisms that give rise to some of these problems change and adapt to survive and, in many cases, fight back. It covers units that include: biology and disease and the variety of living organisms.

Additional entry requirements

Students must five GCSEs at grade C or above including English and Maths. They will need to have achieved high grades in their science GCSEs or equivalent qualifications or relevant work experience.
