Course Description
The aim of the MSc in Bioinformatics course is to introduce Science graduates to the application of Information Technology to computational issues in the Life Sciences. It is taught jointly with the School of Life Sciences. Objectives of the Course: To enable students to develop core skills in Information Technology and Bioinformatics. To enable students to achieve a grasp of the underlying theoretical models in both disciplines and be able to link those to appropriate applicative models. To prepare students for a career as Bioinformaticians in industry or academia.

Entry Requirements
Admission requires a 1st or 2nd class honours degree or its equivalent in a science or engineering subject area with some life sciences or computing content.
