If the student would like to study for a Master's qualification in a rapidly developing discipline of relevance to the Bbiotechnology and pharmaceutical industries this course is suitable; this course is designed to enable students with a 1st degree in Bioinformatics to undertake extended research into particular areas of interest in this growing field; and it has been designed by world-leading researchers in the field, who are directly involved in teaching and in project supervision.
Statistics for bioinformatics; research methods; options: bioinformatics and molecular genetics; software engineering 2; machine learning; medical informatics; advanced genome analysis; systems biology; over the course of the year students also complete a research project.
