The Intermediate Session moves your skills up to the next level. You will learn a range of sewing techniques which are easily transferable when embarking on more complex patterns. This is the perfect 2nd course to do after the Beginners Session, or if you have sewn before and mastered a simple straight stitch and built your confidence when using your machine, and want to master the next techniques you avoid if choosing a pattern/garment to make. Throughout the day you will stitch in the form of samples which you can keep in your own folder (provided) and after the course you will be able to refer back to them. You will also be given handouts with detailed step by step instructions to keep with your samples. Your Machine Recap of Patterns Setting in a sleeve Zips & Fastenings Elastic What to bring... Your sewing machine and any accessories you have for it. Bobbins/Spools for your machine. Zip foot (if you have one) Any patterns you want advise on Your Sewing Sessions folder (if you have been on our Beginners Session) Yourself
You need to be able to stitch a simple straight stitch and have a little confidence using your machine. It would be a good 2nd course to do after completing the Beginners Sewing Session.
