This intensive course is designed to provide the mature student with professional training in beauty, holistic and spa therapies. You will be expected to pay for registration and essential tools, equipment and uniform for the course. Students will work on members of the public as clients in the In Vogue Salons. The students will achieve NVQ Level 3 Beauty Therapy Massage Route and the Diploma in Reflexology, which includes Body Massage Aromatherapy using pre-blended oils Indian Head Massage and Spa treatments. A variety of enrichment activities and trips to exhibitions are very much a part of the course.
Entry is by interview, students will be asked to come in to College for an informal discussion with the course director. Students who do not hold a level 2 qualification in Maths and English will be encouraged to take and obtain the National Test in Literacy and Numeracy (although not mandatory). The College has a team of Skills for Life specialists who provide support when you need it. This is free and outside of your main course of study.
