This course covers a range of beauty specialist subject areas including salon procedures, facial massage, retail, eyebrow shaping, eyelash and eyebrow tinting, manicure, pedicure, waxing, false lashes, cosmetics, skin analysis, face masks, anatomy and physiology, make-up, health and safety, effectiveness at work. After completing this course students will progress onto City and Guilds NVQ Level 3 Beauty Therapy, NVQ in Hairdressing, short specialist courses, or a career as a Beauty Therapist.
Students must have a good general standard of education, 3 GCSEs at grade A-C, or which English must be one, or above or completion of a Level 1 Beauty Course.
