Course Description
In this course, students will study the following units -,Skin analysis, facial cleanse, massage and mask, Eye Treatments, Day, evening and special occasion makeup, Using waxing techniques, Health, Safety and Hygiene, Salon reception procedures. Successful on this course student can progress to NVQ 3 in Beauty Therapy or Level 3 Complementary Therapies. Employment may be gained within the beauty or retail industries.
Course Fees
Free for students under 19 and for the residents of the UK or European Community
Assessment method
Students will be assessed by observation, oral questioning, written assessments and a portfolio of evidence.
Entry Requirements
No formal qualifications are required.
Equipment and Materials
Students will need to bring their own salon uniform, a tunic top, black trousers and shoes no open toes or sandals.
