Course Description
This course teaches students about skin analysis, facial massage, cleansing, toning, moisturising, exfoliating, face masques, steaming and extraction, facial vacuum suction, non-surgical lift, galvanic and faradic facials, iontophoresis, lymphatic drainage, manicure, pedicure, hand massage, foot massage, strip waxing, bees waxing, cream waxing, eyelash tinting, eyebrow tinting, eyebrow shaping, day make-up, evening make-up, bridal make-overs, application of false eyelashes, body massage, sports massage, G5 mechanical massage, infra-red treatment, muscle toning treatments, Indian head massage, Aromatherapy, Reflexology, cosmetic tanning, body wraps, body scrubs, anatomy and physiology of the whole body, cosmetic science, diet and nutrition, basic first aid, health and safety, theory of cosmetic surgery, retail sales and client counselling.
Assessment method
Students will have continual assessments throughout the course culminating in final practical and written exams plus projects and case studies.
Entry Requirements
Students must have a good general education and a high level of English which is essential for this demanding course. An interview (either face to face, or by telephone) is required.
Equipment and Materials
Students will need a pair of white salon shoes and a set of professional make-up brushes (and brush cleaner) for this course.
