This engaging and practical course will provide students with practical experience and knowledge that will enable them to understand the basic requirements of working in the beauty industry. They will learn how to assist on a salon reception, prepare and maintain a work area and also develop their practical beauty therapy skills by assisting the therapist with facial and manicure treatments. They will also be covering level 1 functional skills in numeracy and literacy.
Students should have a minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade G or better or an equivalent Entry level qualification.
