This course aims to provide the student with an understanding of the role of research as applied to their specialist field of study, and with a pathway towards postgraduate study. Upon completion of the course, graduates will be able to: demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of current debates and issues in their specialist field of arts practice; demonstrate the ability to conduct research in their specialist field of arts practice; and demonstrate the ability to successfully undertake postgraduate study at Master or PhD level.
