In this course, students will study units including communication and employability skills for IT, computer systems, information systems, organisational systems security, network management, computer networks. The four pathways include: general pathway, business, software development, networking and system support. After successful completion of the course they can progress to a higher education course such as foundation degree in network technology or BSc (Hons) computer games design courses. Alternatively, they may secure employment in the IT/computing sectors, with the option of continuing their study through the foundation degree.
