A scientifically-based practical training for those who wish to work in the technical areas of sport fisheries (including angling), fish farming and related industries. As well as formal lectures and practical skills training in all aspects of fishery studies, students are also taught closely related skills such as building, engineering and habitat management to provide a comprehensive training required by the industry.
Candidates should possess five GCSEs at A to C grades, including English or equivalent qualifications, with Mathematics and a science being desirable.
