This course covers units that include: hospitality industry, customer care in hospitality, health, safety and security in the hospitality industry, hospitality business operations and hospitality team leadership and supervision. It will prepare students for entry into employment in the hospitality industry or to higher education programmes in hospitality or catering management.
Students should have NVQ Level 2 in Catering and Hospitality Diploma VRQ Level 2 in Catering with a satisfactory reference and equivalent English and preferably Maths or a relevant equivalent Level 2 qualification with equivalent English and preferably Maths OR Appropriate industry experience. Entry is subject to a successful interview and tutor reference. You will need to buy a uniform and equipment and be able to attend flexible hours on a rota basis.
