Students will have the opportunity to take either a hardware or software route. The hardware route will include learning about the computer system, installing hardware and networking. The software route will include learning about spreadsheets, databases and websites. You will also study workskills which includes topics such as managing money, meeting deadlines, job applications and interview skills. All students will be required to develop their English and Maths through courses such as Functional skills and GCSE.
Minimum 4 GCSE grades at D or a pass at Level 1 ICT plus interview and initial assessment. Evidence of E3 literacy and numeracy are required.
