This course is a specialist work-related qualification. It is designed to prepare students for employment or career development opportunities if they are already in work. They will develop their IT skills whilst also studying financial management and IT applications. It can lead to further education at College studying IT at BTEC First Diploma or National Diploma Level. Subsequent employment opportunities can be sought in IT administration or as an IT designer.
Students will need to attend the College for an interview and will be asked to complete a short test. They may also need a reference from any previous academic course attended. They should be aged 16 to 18.
