This course builds on and develops the understanding, knowledge and skills acquired from studying the HNC Law and provide a detailed examination of discrete areas of law and practice. It examines the European Union and its workings, the concepts, principles and law relating to land and trusts, the practice of transferring land and the law of tort to include a detailed study of negligence. Participants will also be able to further develop their legal research analytical and presentational skills through a dissertation or case study. It covers units: European Union law, law of tort, law of trusts, land law and law in practice.
Participants must be aged 18 or over, BTEC HNC in Law with the units provided and have GCSE grades in English language where the GCSE examining board is not Cambridge or Edexcel or AQA, such participants must possess at minimum, a valid IELTS score of 6.0 overall, with no more than one score in any discipline being less than 5.5.
