This course provides an excellent opportunity to acquire skills and experience in Information Technology with a particular emphasis on Network Engineering and Telecommunication Systems. It covers units: telecommunication technology, computer platforms, systems analysis, programming concepts, database design concepts, networking concepts, personal skills development, networking technology, website design and network engineering project.
Participants must be aged 18 or over, have four GCSE, GCE or SCEs, one of which should be in English and one in a Maths subject at grade A, B or C or have Intermediate HSC pass with good grade and have GCSE grades in English language where the GCSE examining board is not Cambridge or Edexcel or AQA, such participants must possess at minimum, a valid IELTS score of 6.0 overall, with no more than one score in any discipline being less than 5.5.
